Description
Summary:This paper presents the development of an IoT-based portable refrigeration unit, utilizing the Peltier effect for thermoelectric cooling. The design currently relies on conventional power sources, with potential future adaptations to incorporate solar energy, making it suitable for use in both remote and urban environments. The unit features an efficient dual Peltier element configuration within a heat chamber, ensuring rapid cooling. Moreover, the integration of IoT technology allows for real-time monitoring and control, enhancing its utility. The system's performance was evaluated in various scenarios, confirming its potential as a solution for the preservation of food and pharmaceuticals in diverse settings. This study contributes to eco-friendly refrigeration methods, envisioning an alternative for communities with limited access to traditional cooling systems and highlighting the prospect of integrating solar energy in the future.
