description The incorporation of chatbots into all facets of education has been made possible by the advancements in artificial intelligence (AI). The use of this innovation in education is expanding. Chatbot technology holds promise for delivering prompt and customized services to all stakeholders in the industry, including students and institutional staff. In the past few years, chatbot usage has grown significantly across a wide range of sectors, covering marketing, medical care, educational supporting systems, heritage preservation, cultural activities, and many more. The use of a chatbot prototype in the educational setting is described in this study. The major goals were to manage communication, develop a specialized architecture, and provide students with the appropriate answers. In order to achieve this goal, a system that can recognize queries has been developed. The solutions are subsequently given to the students using domain ontologies and natural language processing methods. Finally, an experimental campaign was carried out to show the usefulness of the suggested model following its implementation.
