Description
Summary:A very important step in the design of radio-frequency integrated circuits (RF-IC) is circuit simulation. Because the prototyping is very costly, the validity of an RF-IC design is tested only by simulation. Some new efficient methods for finding the steady state of strongly nonlinear RF-ICs are reviewed. The results of 2D time domain analysis using SPICE models are discussed in comparison with 2D analysis using a dedicated software package.
