Summary: | Effective healthcare monitoring and tracking solutions for senior individuals are urgently needed given the growing geriatric population and rising healthcare expenses. In order to provide a complete healthcare monitoring and tracking wristband for senior people, this research study suggests a wristwatch system using ESP-32 and Arduino N ano microcontrollers. Heart rate monitoring, fall detection, sleepwalk detection, GPS tracking, medication reminders, temperature monitoring, and an emergency SOS button are just a few of the functionalities that the wristband incorporates from a variety of sensors. Caretakers may check on the old person's health from a distance thanks to the technology, which transmits real-time health information to a specialized smartphone app. The technology sends notifications to surrounding caretakers in the event of crises or unstable health metrics. The suggested wristband has the potential to improve older people's quality of life by encouraging preventative care and allowing them to safely age in place. To solve usability and privacy issues, however, more development and user testing are essential. The results of the research indicate that this cutting-edge wristwatch technology has the potential to greatly enhance healthcare outcomes for the senior population. |
