Summary:Our research is at the forefront of road safety innovation, combining IoT technology, specifically OBD-II systems, to revolutionize vehicle monitoring. Our comprehensive approach integrates vehicle registration data with precise location coordinates, facilitating real-time vehicle observation in specific areas. This proactive strategy detects anomalies such as overspeeding, rapid acceleration, and potential vehicle malfunctions, made possible through the power of IoT and OBD-II technology. Severity levels are assigned to these anomalies, allowing for swift, targeted responses to mitigate safety risks. The incorporation of IoT enhances data collection and analysis capabilities, while GIS mapping software further streamlines data visualization and monitoring efforts. Ultimately, our approach is poised to usher in a new era of data-driven decision-making in road safety, with the centralization of vehicle sensing data at its core.
