Description
Summary:DC-DC converters are a crucial component in forming DC buses and interfacing distributed energy resources in electric vehicles placing them as an important subject of study. This work presents a new topology found in the literature, along with a mathematical model and control design. The aim is to analyze the potential of this topology in forming DC buses in electric vehicles. The mathematical model and transfer functions were validated through comparisons with circuit simulations in Matlab/Simulink. In addition, a control strategy was developed which involved designing current and voltage controllers and testing them against disturbances in load and voltage reference. The dynamic responses demonstrated satisfactory performance and reference tracking in the presence of disturbances.
