Summary:The 2022 International Joint Conference on Biometrics (IJCB 2022) was held at Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from October 10 to October 13, 2022. This marked the first biometrics conference held in the Middle East. The IJCB 2022 conference combined two major biometrics conferences: the IEEE Biometrics Theory, Applications, and Systems (BTAS) conference and the International Conference on Biometrics (ICB). The IJCB 2022 conference was technically co-sponsored by both IAPR TC4 (Technical Committee on Biometrics) and the IEEE Biometrics Council.
