Summary:Saving water is mandatory in all sectors. Without this resource, humanity will suffer incalculable damage. The use of automation and IoT in irrigation processes, especially in family farming, promotes an effective solution for the sustainable management of water and energy. Irrigation management, carried out by low-cost automation systems, using sensors and wireless communication, will provide data to the user, which via mobile devices will enable efficient and customized irrigation. This approach will conserve water, promoting the sustainability and productivity of small farms.
