Summary: | The effects of strain at room temperature followed by strain at liquid helium temperature on the critical current are reported for a bronze processed wire. It turns out that deformation at room temperature cannot be neglected since it is to some extent additive to strain at liquid helium temperature. It is shown that results can be described adequately by a slight modification of relationship between the critical field and strain at 4.2 K, reported earlier by Ekin [4]. |
