Periodic Multipolar Arrangement for Photodetector and Tailored Emissivity Metasurfaces

We study multipole Mie resonances in transition metal carbides and nitrides MXene arrays. We also demonstrate how to harness iron pyrite's absorption losses to tailor mid-infrared thermal emitter emissivity through multipole resonance and non-radiative losses.
