Summary: | A flexible Fiber Bragg grating array for robotic finger tactile sensing is presented. The sensor array is embedded in a PDMS elastomer, which can be attached on a robotic finger for discriminately monitoring the normal force, left force, right force and temperature. The force can be monitored by measure the reflected intensity variation of the three FBGs while temperature can be monitored by measure the wavelength shift of the FBGs. |
