Summary: | This paper deals with the beampattern synthesis problem with dynamic range ratio (DRR) constraint. For any shaped beampattern, weighted factors are adopted to control the desired angle region. To solve the nonconvex formulated problem, the paper proposes a block successive upper-bound maximization (BSUM) based algorithm, decomposing the original problem into two simple subproblems. Two cases are carried out to validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. Results show that larger weighted factors can control the null depth. Meanwhile, the peak sidelobe level (PSLL) of the array antenna would be influenced by the different D RRs. |
