Summary:A study of constrains for reflection coefficients from lossy metasurfaces is presented. Reflection coefficients have been found to describe circumference paths on the complex plane whose centers and radius are affected by losses. We have systematically observed that the effect of losses on a metasurface made of strip resonators is weaker than for the complementary metasurface made of slot resonators.
