Summary:The processes of acidity dynamics of the fermentation medium in biogas plants are considered. Based on the analysis of interval data, a mathematical model of the dynamics of the acidity of the fermentation medium in the form of an interval difference equation was developed. The mathematical model by solving a complex optimization problem in which the criterion function is discrete and nonlinear was obtained. For this purpose, a metaheuristic approach using a multi-agent system was used. The procedures of the multi-agent system on the basis of the behavioral model of the honey bee colony are implemented. The obtained interval difference equation has guaranteed predictive properties within the limits of experimental errors is shown. The resulting differential equation also contains a control element that balances the proportion of liquid and solid fractions of the substrate, which fully corresponds to the physical content of the simulated process.
