Summary: | The War Strategy Optimization (WSO) algorithm is being suggested as a fresh approach which is inspired by old war tactics and their lessons with the purpose to generate better optimization processes. This study focuses on formulating a mathematical model for WSO, evaluating its performance across various optimization problems, and comparing it against the Black Widow Optimization (BWO) algorithm. The methodology involves implementing both algorithms to solve a range of optimization tasks and analyzing their efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, a case study on economic dispatch in ten-bus systems over a 24-hour period is conducted to showcase the adaptability and reliability of the WSO algorithm in real-world scenarios, especially in power system management and economic dispatch. The findings demonstrate that WSO surpasses BWO in terms of optimization performance, highlighting its potential for addressing complex optimization challenges in diverse applications. Overall, the study underscores the effectiveness of WSO in improving optimization outcomes, particularly in scenarios where dynamic decision-making and strategic planning are crucial. |
