Summary:The increasing adoption of the microservice architecture (MSA) necessitates compliance validation in self-adaptive solutions at runtime to mitigate the risk of non-compliance. This research proposes a compliance validation capability within a service mesh to facilitate the dynamic adjustment of access control policies for MSA applications while adhering to compliance requirements. The approach is examined through experimental evaluation on the TeaStore e-commerce platform using Kubernetes and Istio.
