Summary: | Time-frequency representation is widely used for non-stationary signal analysis because of its straightforwardness. A disordered speech signal is analyzed with a spectrogram and pseudo Wigner-Ville distribution, then enhanced with a reassignment method to reduce cross-term components by reassigning the signal energy. The reassigned spectrogram and reassigned PWVD are applied to vibrational abnormalities of vocal tract for larynx diseases determination. Examples are presented with interpretation for clinical diagnostics. |
