Summary: | This paper proposes an application of the causal ordering graph (COG) to the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM). This COG model recalls that the electromagnetic thrust of the PMLSM is composed of two bijective parts. Each of these two parts has the same frequency component according to the interaction of the magnet fields and the currents. By using the principle of model inversion, we define a control structure, which achieves the thrust control strategy with two conventional PI current regulators. To confirm the effectiveness of the proposed control method, some simulation and experimental results from the laboratory test system are shown. |
