3-D laser radar development with arrays of photon-counting detectors

M.I.T. Lincoln Laboratory is developing technologies for three-dimensional laser radar. The detector technology is based on arrays of avalanche photodiodes operating in the Geiger mode, with integrated timing circuitry for each pixel.
