Description
Summary:A type of tap-off upstream extension system is developed to provide high-speed upstream signal transmission by our experimental telemedicine network, which is composed of a wireless LAN and three CATV networks. Transmission tests conducted with this extension system show that 64QAM signals at the symbol rate of 5 Msymbols/sec can be transferred stably in the 260 MHz extended upstream band from 920 MHz to 1180 MHz.
