Summary: | This paper develops a novel mechanism for traffic engineering, which combines differentiated services (DiffServ) and constraint-based routing together to meet the different QoS requirements, while preserving load balancing simultaneously. Simulation results illustrate the advantage of this mechanism. The proposed MPLS-TE mechanism can guarantee QoS requirements of the traffic flows and outperforms the traditional methods in terms of load balancing and throughout, so that the capability of the network is improved in evidence. |
