Summary: | In this paper a simplified method for Ground Penetrating Radar (CPR) tomography is proposed. This method uses a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) based focusing technique in order to maximize the spatial resolution of the GPR system. A number of factors which normally degrade the accuracy of the measured data are used to derive a simplified but adequately accurate mathematical model for the focusing procedure. The accuracy of the proposed method has been confirmed experimentally with the use of a GPR setup. |
