Summary: | This work describes an efficient and accurate algorithm for modeling of planar periodic antennas. The proposed algorithm is based on the method of lines (MoL). It will be shown, that finite periodic antenna arrays can be modeled combining Floquet's theorem with impedance transformation. To take into account antenna's radiation, absorbing boundary conditions (ABC) are used. The proposed formulation is substantiated with numerical results of an eight-slot antenna-array. |
