For research of optical properties of microlens made by method of photopolymerisation of sessile drop the interference method on base of Mach-Zehnder interferometer is used. Task is leads to determination of properties of microlens, which have deviation from ideal lens shape. Microlens made from drops of photopolymerised compositions have some imperfection: not well-defined aperture stops, which depend on quality and cleanness of substrate; not absolute spherical surfaces, which depend on drop shape formed in gravitation field; some inhomogeneity of refraction index that is concerned with speed of drop hardening process. In that case a question arises: How should the microlens be used in order to obtain optimum lens properties? Used interferometric method gives the phase distribution of light beam behind lens in every point of beam propagation. It allows: to calculate the longitudinal spherical aberration; using Rayleigh's criterion to calculate a number aperture and focal distance that determine conditions for the smallest focal spot size; to calculate the intensity distribution in a focal plane that is direct related with imaging properties of microlens. |
