38 GHz microwave photonic generation utilizing four-wave mixing and fiber Bragg gratings

Four-wave mixing in a highly non-linear fiber and filtering properties of fiber Bragg gratings are utilized to generate a 38 GHz microwave photonic carrier using electronics operating at only a sixth of this frequency.
