Summary: | Risk analysis in human-machines system usually takes into account unintentional errors. The article proposes to analyze intentional errors so-called violations in order to improve, in a first time, risk analysis and in a second time, safety design. After a brief introducing of intentional deviated behaviour and more precisely, barrier-crossing, the paper presents a model (the BCD model) dedicated to analyse these deviated behaviours. This model is based on the benefit, the cost and the deficit (BCD) associated to a barrier-crossing and considering a multi-criteria approach. The interest of the BCD model is illustrated by the presentation of the results of an experimental study realized on a railway simulator (TRANSPAL). In this experimental study, human operators were faced to barriers and had the choice to deactivate a part of them. The aim of the study was to explain the human operators' choice. |
