Summary: | We present congestion controlled reliable multipath source routing protocol in ad-hoc networks. Our protocol enhances the earlier QoS-MSR protocol by incorporating congestion avoidance and reliability. To achieve congestion avoidance, we introduce a buffer-full field in the node cache to keep track of the capacity of the buffer of that particular node. Apart from this, we also update the configuration of the multipath-route table in order to synchronize the nodes in the network. Moreover, sending an acknowledgement signal to the predecessor node(s), besides delivering data packets, ensures reliability. Performance analysis is demonstrated. We discussing how our protocol increases throughput at the cost of total delay. |
