Flaws in an E-mail protocol
Recently, a paper by Sun, Hsieh and Hwang (2005) proposed two methods of retrieving E-mail from a central E-mail server that claimed to have forward secrecy. A critique of one of the algorithms was proposed. In particular, the forward secrecy of the second proposed protocol was broken.
