Summary: | Consumers' demand for information about potential purchases has significantly increased in recent years. The possibility of checking product related information before making purchasing decisions is likely to be one of the key factors in market share competition. RFID (radio frequency identification) technology together with wireless communication technologies form a promising and competitive combination to realise this need. In this paper, we present and analyse a user interface (UI) of an RFID reader integrated in a smart mobile phone. User requirements, information management and consumer process flow are described and analysed. Further, an example of a reader UI is introduced. |
