Description
Summary:Polyscopy is offered as a new paradigm in the design for the Web. One of the characteristics of polyscopy is that it is based upon a methodology, called polyscopic Modeling, which offers explicitly formulated principles, criteria and methods for designing information. We show how certain tools and techniques from polyscopy may be applied to devise a methodology for designing for the Web. Our approach allows us to highlight a central role of visual information (creation and presentation of high-level information) and to specify and discuss visual information design criteria.
