Summary: | The electric field integral equation (EFIE) is used with the method of moments to analysis the scattering characteristics of perfect conductor that is partly illuminated by an electromagnetic wave beam. The incident beam is described by a spherical wave weighted by source radiation pattern. For a narrow incident beam, it is assumed that one of the incident field components can be neglected. Numerical results of near-field scattering patterns in local illumination are given for a metal structure that is combined by a cylinder and a cone |
