Summary: | Spatial processing is the leading technology for increasing the data rate in wireless local area networks. On the other hand, the IEEE 802.11a standard is one of the most promising IEEE WLAN standards with a maximum achievable bit rate of 54 Mbits/s. There is a Matlab Simulink model available for simulating this standard. We have added both simple and post-FFT smart antenna to this model and have observed its effect in improving the performance of the system in the presence of cochannel interference. |
