Summary: | The proposed paper introduces a new block-based wavelet watermarking technique. The technique makes use of the utilizes the characteristics of the human vision system (HVS), as well as the spatial and spectral localization properties of the wavelet transform to fuse wavelet decomposition of watermark into all host image wavelet decomposition subbands controlled by block activity measurements. The low frequency watermark could resist the attacks that affect the high frequencies such as compression. In other hand, the high frequency watermark could resist the attacks that affect the low frequencies such as high pass filtering. Simulation results show the superior performance of the technique for preserving the high quality of watermarked images and for the robustness to a variety of image processing operations. The scheme is also examined as a powerful technique for in authentication or content verification. |
