Control of DRO performance using lateral spherical echelette open resonator

An experimentally verified approach is suggested to execute control over the output power, frequency and signal spectrum of diffraction radiation oscillator (DRO). For this purpose, a lateral spherical echelette open resonator is added to the DRO design.
