Degenerated optical parametric chirped-pulse amplification using periodically poled LiTaO3

A high-gain preamplifier centered at 1064nm based on optical parametric chirped pulse amplification was demonstrated using periodically poled LiTaO3. The gain of ~10 6 and ~10.3% conversion efficiency were achieved with low pump energy.
