Summary: | Test is more than transistors, tools and testers. It includes issues related to, for example, new technology development and solution hardening, the analyses and mechanics of test structure insertion, quality, pattern/test-program development, tester cell configuration/road-mapping, manufacturing constraint identification and elimination, debug & diagnosis, data management, information hand-offs and the creation of methodologies to drive execution. In this panel, four industry executives outline their definition of test and map how this fits to their goals. In addition, they discuss how their requirements and influences on test affect one another's operation. They also compare their predominant needs against current test-community focus, deliverables and trends. They state what they need (and need to do) individually and collectively to succeed. |
