Summary: | A partial comparison of calibration methods which are based on the spline approximation shows the extraordinary flexibility of this tool for measurement data processing and reveals numerous possibilities of its amelioration. This study outlines a general methodology for generating new calibration algorithms and their validation using synthetic data. When applied to a system for ultrasonic analysis of chemical analysis this methodology enabled the authors to draw specific conclusions, which are presented. The results obtained for a system for measuring high pressures require significant development before the formulation of conclusions concerning the applicability of the methods of calibration to the measuring systems, similar to this system, for which a nonlinear, noninvertible model of the conversion channel is adequate.< > |
