Description
Summary:Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) and sensor networks have become popular in the last couple of years. The IEEE 802.16 standard makes it more comfortable to deploy MANETs and sensor networks in a larger scalability. However, the energy capacity of mobile nodes is a major issue when MANETs and sensor networks become larger. This paper provides energy-based routing techniques which are expected to provide better energy consumption behavior of the mobile nodes. This paper also reports the simulation results using these techniques.
