Modeling of switching cores for induction accelerators

A nonlinear magnetization model has been installed in the 2-1/2-D finite-difference electromagnetic code AMOS. A procedure has been developed for mapping the 3D induction cells on the 2D AMOS mesh. These tools will be important for modeling advanced induction accelerator cells.< >
