Summary: | This brief deals with the bifurcation analysis and its experimental validation for a hysteresis circuit oscillator. The bifurcation analysis of the ideal oscillator is carried out by resorting to numerical continuation techniques that corroborate and expand previous results. The experimental confirmation is obtained by means of both a proper circuit implementation and a measurement setup used for the automatic generation of two-dimensional bifurcation diagrams. The obtained circuit-based results show an excellent qualitative agreement with the numerical results. |
