Optimum efficiency-tracking gate driver using adaptive deadtime control for single chip DC-DC converter

Description
Summary:An optimum efficiency-tracking gate driver for single-chip DC-DC converter is proposed. It prevents an anti-parallel diode turn-on by adaptive deadtime control in sub-ns order. So it minimizes voltage and current spikes during switching transient, which results in high efficiency and EMI performance. Proposed gate driver is applied to buck converter using 0.35μm CMOS process.
