Summary:The paper describes the design, functional capabilities, and performance of the enhanced miniaturized airborne GPS receiver (EMAGR) being developed by the Collins Avionics & Communications Division, Rockwell International. It is the result of adding functional and performance capability to the DoD standard MAGR, also produced by Rockwell's Collins Division. The details of the EMAGR's hardware and software architecture are presented, along with descriptions of the added functional capability and their impacts on current MAGR hardware, software, and performance.< >
