Description
Summary:Two algorithms are presented for the design of constrained least-squares digital filters. They can bound the error according to user specifications while also minimizing the total weighted squared error (TWSE). Although the two algorithms are very different internally, they produce very similar results. One algorithm produces nearly optimal solutions, and the other algorithm produces solutions that are guaranteed to be optimal by the Kuhn-Tucker theorem.< >
