Summary: | The growing necessity to increase the systems safety during running on board ships has imposed the method of block reserves. In the case of such redundant systems reliability behaviour is described by an assembly of reliability functions. The work presents these functions emphasising the ways to ensure a high reliability of naval equipment. This paper also deals with the problems of establishing the optimum number of reserves blocks for serial reliable structure system, with imposed restrictions. It is proposed an algorithm that provides a faster convergence and the best solution. A reserved allocation is done not to the less reliable block but to the one that determines by allocation the biggest rise of system reliability. |
