Summary: | Analytical evaluation of the effect of impulsive atmospheric noise on the performance of a direct-sequence spread-spectrum system has already been reported. In this paper, the error-rate performance of such a system using nonlinearities like soft clippers and hard limiters is evaluated using simulated noise samples. The results obtained compare well with the theoretically established results. |
