Description
Summary:In the paper we deal with the fractal rendering of 3D patches. To obtain IFS needed for patches generation we use self-similarity arguments. In order to get IFS every considered patch is splitted into 4 subpatches. Obtained IFS generates iteratively attractors that are immersed in a higher dimensional space. After attractor projection on three dimensional space we get the required patch. Further, some examples of real 3D shapes rendered fractally with some accompanying negative aspects of fractal modeling are also presented
