Description
Summary:A common interest shared by researchers around the world regarding web and Internet applications is offering personalized services, based on user profiling techniques as well as information retrieval and processing. Various technologies have been implemented to help gather, validate and verify the results acquired, including web services and extensible Markup Language (XML) representation. Apart from web services and XML representation, agent based techniques have been considered a "de facto" standard in developing personalized systems. In this paper, we present the architecture as well as development results of P.A.L.I. project. P.A.L.I. project is targeted to develop an application for assisting users acquiring secretarial services through the use of agent and adaptive user interfaces technologies.
