Summary: | Exponential stability of smapled-data nonlinear systems is investigated via the systems' Euler approximations. New consistency condition and its sufficient conditions are presented. Under the consistency condition the exponential stable controllers for Euler approximations also exponentially stabilize the exact discrete-time models. These conditions may be verified with the continuous-time models, the control laws and the Euler approximations of the systems so that the sampled-data controllers could be designed based on the Euler approximations of the systems while the exact discrete-time models are unknown. |
