Bench testing of oscillometric blood pressure monitors

Methodology of oscillometric waveform simulation is described and its shortcomings are discussed. A typical commercial instrument for bench testing of oscillometric blood pressure monitors is described. A new method using physiological waveforms is introduced and its advantages are discussed.
