Summary: | Digital forensics is still an emerging field of study where the best methods for gaining subject matter expertise are still unclear. This paper presents a worked example of pairing traditional learning methods with a highly adaptive laboratory environment in a university setting. The example environment and pedagogy presented here represent a unique collaborative relationship between academia, industry and government parties. Several learning styles have been employed at the university level to provide opportunities for conventional students to excel, meanwhile training and topical exploration opportunities exist for regional industry and government parties. |
